Peking’s Poste Francaise

I posted a while back on the old Post Office in Peking’s former Legation Quarter (here). The Poste Francaise was adjacent to the entrance to the French Legation and is now a shabby restaurant. After posting the piece I then (of course) came across the photo I was looking for of the Post Office in its glory days. the buildings opposite are now gone as, sadly, are the lions. Additionally the ornamentation over the entrance to the lobby and the sign have long gone too.
