Kaohsiung North Gates to be Opened…Maybe

According to this article in the Taipei Times the Kaohsiung City Government is to open the old North Gate, originally built by that old pirate Koxinga’s son Zheng Jing in 1681.

I don’t personally have a photo of the gate – you can see one here though – but if opened up to sightseers it would offer some good views across Kaohsiung Harbour.
