The Time Out Beijing Midnight in Peking Nightime Walk Redux – 28th October

Posted: October 16th, 2011 | 2 Comments »

Back in September Time Out Beijing kindly asked me to host a nighttime walk for their readers around the key locations mentioned in my bestselling book (well, it is in Hong Kong so I can say that!!) Midnight in Peking. It was fun and sold out and we all ended up sinking a few 1930s style cocktails at Capital M. And it’s happening again…but you’ve got to be quick as places are limited. Contact Time Out Beijing and try and get on-board.

Can’t believe this. I just finished Midnight in Peking – in Beijing! I was here on the 28th and could have joined the late night tour. So disappointed. Wish I had known in time! I am going to set off on my own today and try to visit some of the landmarks. Read the book for a book group in Hong Kong where I am a second time around American ex-Pat.

Kate – many thanks for your comments and reading the book. I hope the personal tour went well – we’re hoping to do some more tours with Time Out in Beijing when we get the time and the weather is good. If you’re independent minded enough there’s an audio tour you can follow on the website – http://www.midnightinpeking.com
