Singapore Writers’ Festival 2013 – this coming weekend

Posted: October 31st, 2012 | No Comments »

I’ll be down at the Singapore Writers’ Festival this coming weekend doing various events that all look quite interesting. They’ve come up with some good panels including one on Saturday November 3 on writing about the Middle Kingdom featuring me once again with Linda Jaivin (A Most Immoral Woman) and Jonathan Campbell (Red Rock).

I’ll also be on a panel on Saturday evening intriguingly called Crime Scene: Do Not Enter with Charlson Ong (Blue Angel, White Shadow set in Manila), the Osla crime writer Kjell Ola Dah (Lethal Investments) and Shamini Flint of the popular Inspector Singh series.

Finally on Sunday November 4 I’m doing a panel on multi-hyphenate writing (yea, I didn’t know what that was either!) which is apparently being a writer who also a job that’s not being a writer. Joining me, and also it seems sneaking off work for a weekend, are the children’s author Grant S Clarke and the business writer Mukul Deva.
