How lovely to see Ovomaltine here! I grew up on that in Germany in the 70s and 80s – stirred into cold milk, or sometimes it was great just to sneak a spoonful of the crunchy mix itself.
Of course Ovaltine and Milo remain popular favourites throughout South East Asia and Hong Kong in both iced and hot varieties and, if done properly, made with tinned condensed milk – sweet but delicious
