I know you wrote a post on my uncle Thomas Handforth. Since then I did a little book on life in his courtyard . The link is above. Just want to remind you that he took so many wonderful photos of Peking while he lived there in the 30s. They are in the Laurence Sickman collection at the Nelson Atkins Museum . I can send you a few that I copied when I was visiting the archives if you would like. He also photographed so many other artists writers etc. who were his friends.
