Chiang Yee and His Circle – Chinese Edition

The colledction of essays Chiang Yee and His Circle: Chinese Artistic and Intellectual Life in Britain, 1930–1950 was published by Hong Kong University Press a couple of years ago. I contributed an essay Chiang Yee and his wwartime work. There are other essays by Paul Bavan, Ke Ren, Frances Wood, Anne Witchard, Sarah Chang, Tessa Thorniley, Diana Yeh, Craig Clunas and Da Zhang. And now a Chinese translation is out this month.

    Hi,

    I’m hoping you can help me find the estate of Chiang Yee. I’m writing a book on the publisher, Noel Carrington, who worked with Chiang Yee on several books, for Country Life, Puffin, and for Transatlantic Arts.
    I’d like to illustrate the text with images from these books, and would like to get in touch with the estate re permissions, and to also find out if any material relating to Noel Carrington might exist beyond that I’ve found so far.
