Add to this Hong Kong and Shanghai-based Wing Nam (most of the silversmithing companies in late nineteenth and early twentieth century Shanghai were originally from Hong Kong or Guangzhou)…
All of the above were retailers, not “silversmiths”. The vast majority of artisan silversmiths who came to Guangzhou hailed from Foshan 佛山.
